Jumeirah Bay is a complex containing three skyscrapers in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The towers are located alongside one of the three lakes in the large Jumeirah Lake Towers project. All three buildings were designed by the National Engineering Bureau, and were developed by Nakheel Properties.
The three towers in the complex are Jumeirah Bay X1, Jumeirah Bay X2 and Jumeirah Bay X3. Jumeirah Bay X2 stands as the tallest of the three, and rises the closest to the shoreline. It has 47 floors.
JLT, or Jumeirah Lakes Towers, is a large mixed use development by DMCC. This popular development is distinguished by 80 high rise towers surrounding 3 large man-made lakes and a 55000 square meter park. The towers are mixed in purpose with a healthy balance of residential, hotel, and commercial towers throughout the development. This offers companies a healthy advantage of having a wide range of residential choices for employees to live nearby.
JLT is mostly completed, with only a few towers left still under construction. The community is starting to come to life with many charming restaurants, community activities, and events taking place around the lakes and in the park. In the coming years there are 2 supertall towers being built in a new district named “Uptown Dubai” that is expected to uplift the JLT community and boost its popularity even further.
